A Different Kind of Design Language

The naming looks confusing at first but follows a simple logic once you know it.

• Coilovers is the family — the spring-wrapped design the brand is known for
• Micro / Mini / Big tells you the height
• Base means a solid two-tone finish
• Anod means an anodised pattern, usually a splash, camo or gradient
• The last part is the colourway itself

So a Coilovers Mini Anod Black-Gold Splash is a mid-size Coilover with an anodised black and gold splash pattern. Once you’ve decoded one, the whole catalogue reads easily.

What Arrives in the Box

Mamay hookahs are sold as complete stems. A typical set includes:

• the stem with its spring housing
• an ash tray
• a matching mouthpiece
• a silicone hose
• a removable diffuser
• a full gasket set

You’ll want to add a bowl, and if you’d rather not use foil, a heat management device too. Some models arrive with the vase, others without — worth checking on the individual product page before ordering.

Who Tends to Buy One

Living With It

Maintenance is simple. The stem comes apart at every threaded joint, so a body brush and warm water is normally all you need. Rinse the diffuser separately, since that’s where residue collects fastest.

Anodised surfaces don’t react well to harsh chemicals or abrasive scourers, so stick to mild cleaning and dry every part before reassembly. Do that consistently and the finish stays sharp for years rather than months.

Where the Range Sits on Price

Mamay occupies the space just above entry level and just below the premium tier. You’re paying for machining quality, steel internals and a finish that holds up — not for a famous name or a presentation case.

The Micro is the most affordable way in. The Mini sits in the middle and is where most people land. The Big models and the limited anodised patterns push toward the top of the range, mostly because of the extra material and the hand-applied finishing.
