The Czech Republic has been famous for its high-end glassware for many centuries, so it should come as no surprise that some of the most exclusive Hookah bases come from our southern neighbors. Caesar Crystal Bohemiae is a company with a rich glassmaking tradition dating back more than 150 years, and while vases make up only a fraction of the manufacturer's extensive range, it approaches them with the same impressive care and mastery as the more common chandeliers, flacons or bowls.
Caesar Crystal vases are made entirely of crystal glass with a minimal lead oxide content of only 24 percent. They consist of two layers - transparent and tinted. The material is blown and decorated by hand by master glassmakers, and rigorous quality control carried out at every stage of manufacturing ensures that only blemish-free products go on sale.
Caesar Crystal Bohemiae makes one reflect on where craftsmanship ends and true art begins. Indeed, the patterns covering the Czech manufacturer's vases were designed by well-known local artists, thus combining modern ornamentation with traditional craftsmanship. These vases are impossible to hide in a cabinet - putting them on display in the living room is the only legitimate option. Admiration from guests, both those who smoke and those who shy away from tobacco, guaranteed.
